About Me
Hey you! Welcome to Doing Sowell, a lifestyle blog designed to showcase how I do it all so well (or at least look like it). First and foremost, I am a mother, aunt, wife, daughter, sister and friend. I started this site to give our family here and abroad an opportunity to keep up with the goings on of our family. Before I met Mr. Sowell, I was all over the place (some people might say I still am) but since our union, I have calmed down so much and as a result, I appreciate life so much more. It’s only right that when I tell you who I am, I also tell you who I am not so you get a better understanding of me.
- I am a Leo-enough said.
- I have a shopping problem-according to the people signing for the boxes.
- I am not a writer(by profession), I just enjoy sharing our family’s stories.
- I am not a parenting expert, I am my father’s daughter and since his methods produced perfection (moi) I plan on using a few of his tactics.
- I am not a photographer- I just use a Nikon D40 and a D5000 because it looks professional and when I pull it out , the other parents back up.
- I never had dreams of being a mother or a wife but I have settled quite nicely into these roles and I realize now that prior to these life changing events, I was not actually living.
- I am obsessed with the Food Network, not just because I love food, but I enjoy cooking too.
- I have a green thumb and I take pride on styling gardens.
- I am addicted to gadgets…if you do not see it here, email me and I will post about it. Because believe me, I have it already.
- Anything I am reviewing on this site, I bought for our household. If I can save a family the hassle of buying nonsense, I am pleased.
We met, we traveled, we got pregnant, we bought a house and we got married! Albeit backwards, it is done and we are doing so well in our new lives together. Sit back, kick-up your feet and enjoy a laugh (or cry) as you read the chronicles of our life. Comments make us happy so feel free to leave a message so we know you stopped by. Ciao!!
