I cannot believe summer is almost over! As I was getting the kids ready this morning, I thought I would share with you my favorite skin care products. (next year I will make this list earlier so that you have a chance to enjoy it during the season) A few of these I use all year round and some are summer specials. There is always a new product coming out but as long as they continue making these…I will definitely put them back into rotation. Now you know I am an Arbonne consultant and I swear by their products, but too often I find myself picking up something I saw in a magazine or as I am cruising the aisles of Target, I always end up with much more than I set out for.
Kennedy’s Skin: well she’s a baby so her skin is already soft but I do believe in nurturing it so that it behaves nicely as she grows. I have always used this on the kids when they were infants:

Johnson & Johnson’s Soothing Naturals. The smell is so babyish and it is not too glossy or thick. It was just right for their newborn skin. I want to say they discontinued this at some point because I could not find it anymore in Target or any of my second choice stores. Lucky thing she is a toddler now or I could see myself on the steps of J&J pitching a fit. If you do want it and are unable to find it, let me know and I will spearhead the effort to bring it back. So now we use this:
Ahhh the Bees. Burts Bees. This on the contrary is fragrant, thick and shiny. It’s called buttermilk lotion for a reason-rich, milky, did I mention thick? Here is the key, I apply it on her after her evening bath. Believe it or not, it still keeps her skin looking pretty and well moisturized after her morning wash-up. At night time it seems a little too fragrant for me but by the morning I cannot stop kissing up her little legs to take in more of the scent. So I guess it needs its “set-in” time. The company is all earth friendly so when I buy their products I feel like I am doing my part to contribute to the planet’s health.
Mommy’s Skin: I was combing through one of my hundreds of magazines. I saw this and just knew I had to have it. I was looking for something light and sweet for the summer and behold:

Neutrogena Body Oil-Light Sesame Formula. It glides on. It’s not sticky and it gives you a slight glow (not like a firefly-lol) but radiant. I already love Neutrogena’s products but this one is my favorite to date.
Do you have dry skin? Dry areas? Then this is for you.
I found this while scouring through another magazine too. I love this!!! In fact, I use a little of this Amlactin on my dry spots and then add a light layer of the Neutrogena oil for the radiance. I hope you try out my finds. Let me know how they work out for you.
Next up for our beauty chat is make-up. I don’t wear it often but when I do, I always look for the best out there. I have some great finds to share with you. Be sure to stop back.
